- Please submit the manuscript as follows:
- Use Microsoft Office Word 2013 software to write your article.
- Document margins: 3 cm (top and bottom) and 2.5 cm (left and right), and 1 cm space between the lines.
- Text: B Zar, 13 point; Times New Roman, 12 point.
- Articles should be left-alighted (if written in English) and right-aligned (if written in Persian).
- The main and sub-headings in the article should be ranked numerically in such a way that the main numbers are mentioned on the right, and sub-numbers are mentioned on the left (example: 1-1; 1-2; 1-3).
- Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and centered on the text. A table is an ordered set of data, such as numbers, signs, abbreviations, names, abstracts, summaries, etc., arranged in an ordered fashion and usually related to each other. Tables are used to present quantitative data and show comparative trends. Shapes show tendencies and characteristics. They also highlight relationships between numbers and include maps, charts, photographs, and other images. Each table or figure should stand alone so that the reader can understand it without reading the text. Avoid using the words such as the "following table" or "following figure" when referring to a table or figure within an article, and only refer to the number of the table or figure within the article – g., Figure 1.
- The titles of the tables should be inserted above them, and the titles of the figures should be mentioned below them in Persian and English.
- The English equivalent of names and terms should be mentioned in the footnote only once.
- Use the automatic command of Word software (endnote) if you need to insert footnotes.
- Orthography and linguistic features of an article
- The article should be structurally solid in terms of writing, and the rhetorical principles of Persian and American English should be observed.
- The orthography of the article should be set based on the latest edition of "Persian orthography" (click here to download Persian orthography).
- The language should be polished.
- Punctuation marks (point, comma, colon, question mark, etc.) must also be typed in Persian when typing in Persian. Avoid changing the language input to English to type these signs.
- Only one space should be typed between words. Letters like "to" (the preposition) and "and" are also considered independent words in typing, and they must have a space before and after them.
- Punctuation marks such as periods, colons, commas, semicolons, question marks, exclamation marks, closed quotation marks, and closed parentheses must come immediately after words, and the space key must not be pressed before these marks.
- The punctuation marks like open quotation marks (") and open parenthesis (() are typed with one space after the previous word and are attached to the word after it.
- Half-spaces should be observed when typing words. Use Ctrl+Shift+2 or Ctrl + Space to insert a half-space in words like "three-dimensional" instead of one space between "three" and "dimensional". It is necessary, of course, that the combination of these two keys has already been defined for the half-space on your PC. To do this, proceed as follows: select the Symbol tab on the Insert menu. In the Special Characters, select No-Width Optional Break. After clicking on this option, click on the Shortcut Key. A new page will be opened for you. In the Press New Shortcut Key, press the Ctrl and Space keys simultaneously. Now you should press the Assign key and click on the Close key in this menu as well as the next open menu. Hereinafter, you can use the combination of Ctrl + Space keys for inserting half-spaces.
- Avoid inserting a blank space at the end of sentences.
- Define indentation at the beginning of the paragraphs. The first paragraph and titles do not need to be indented. the space key can't be used to do so. Go to the Home tab, select the paragraph option, and specify the amount of indentation in the special section by selecting the first line option (for example, 0.5 cm).
- Use the combination of Ctrl + Enter keys once instead of pressing multiple Enters if you are going to continue writing at the beginning of the next page.
- The beginning of the words should be capitalized in English when typing specific names such as the names of cities, countries, companies, and people and their addresses (such as Tehran instead of tehran).
- Use the combination of Shift + K and Shift + L keys to type "" symbols.
- Use Shift + I and Shift + O to type [] symbols.
