In mystical writings from the fourth to the sixth centuries AH, the topic is often presented through scattered quotations from spiritual masters; however, certain mystics—most notably Ruzbihan Baqli (d. 522 AH)—offer a more coherent approach to it. Although Ruzbihan does not dedicate a separate treatise exclusively to innate nature, the numerous references dispersed throughout his works allow for the reconstruction of his perspective. This study adopts a descriptive–analytical method, examining thirteen of Ruzbihan’s works. Its aim is twofold: to document the frequency and semantic range of the term <em>Fitrat</em> in his corpus and to clarify his Sufi understanding of the concept. The findings reveal that Ruzbihan uses <em>Fitrat</em> in multiple senses, including creation, the creatures of the cosmos, human disposition, instinct, and the lower, commanding self. From a mystical perspective, he conceives innate nature as grounded in four principal pillars, the foremost of which is the Divine act of will. Adam (peace be upon him) is presented as the created exemplar—the manifestation of primordial innate nature and an image of the Transcendent Reality. Innate nature, Ruzbihan maintains, possesses specific characteristics and is subject to change. Furthermore, he discusses the innate nature of capacities such as the aptitude for knowledge, faith, servitude, and love, using the notion of innate nature to clarify certain technical Sufi terms. فطرت از مباحث مهم حوزة کلام و عرفان است که تعاریف و کارکردهای متعددی دارد. بررسی متون عرفانی قرن چهارم تا ششم هجری نشان می‌دهد که این موضوع در آثار عارفان به نقل قول‏های پراکنده از مشایخ محدود شده است. بااین‌حال، در آثار برخی عارفان ازجمله روزبهان بقلی (متوفی 522ق.) نگرش خاصی به آن دیده می‏شود. روزبهان مبحث مستقلی را به فطرت اختصاص نداده؛ اما با بررسی اشارات متعدد در آثارش می‏توان به دیدگاه‏های او دراین‌باره دست یافت. این پژوهش که به روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی انجام شده، تلاش کرده است تا با مطالعة سیزده اثر از آثار روزبهان، افزون‌بر بررسی بسامد و تنوع معانی واژة فطرت، دیدگاه‌های عرفانی او را دراین‌باره مشخص کند. نتایج پژوهش نشان می‏دهد که واژة فطرت در آثار روزبهان معانی گوناگونی دارد؛ ازجمله آفرینش، موجودات جهان، سرشت انسانی، غریزه، نفس امّاره و... . از منظر عرفانی، روزبهان برای فطرت چهار رکن در نظر گرفته که اصل آن فعل ارادة حق است. آدم^(ع)، بدیع فطرت و مصداق فطرت اوّل و صورت حق‌ّتعالی است. فطرت انسانی ویژگی‌هایی دارد و تغییر می‌کند. فطری‌بودن اموری همچون استعداد معرفت، بندگی، ایمان و عشق، و نیز تعریف برخی اصطلاحات عرفانی با استفاده از مفهوم فطرت، از دیگر مباحث مطرح‌شده در آثار اوست. https://jpll.ui.ac.ir/article_29819_7a034f6aaa9a7ad05c48432386d159e8.pdf
