Emphasizing the presence of Sufism terms or the presence of artistic-literary elements in such a language shows a neutral reaction to the issue of mystical language in previous studies. This paper aims to introduce interpretation as the fundamental factor in the formation of and development of such language. Passing through existent lingual concepts and structures, language of mysticism proposes novel meanings and structures in an interpretive procedure. The significance of interpretation is in the creation of deep structures which are the main factor behind the structural and semantic development of this language. Disregarding the conventional ontological and epistemological meanings of them, via a linguistic interpretation, this view introduces “Zahir” (the outside) and “Baten” (the inside) as going outside the old context and entering the new context. Interpretive deep structures and their role in the spiritual movement of meaning cause the language of mysticism develop on the paradigmatic axis rather than syntagmatic axis; a factor which highlights literary aspect in mystical texts. بحث از زبان عرفان در گرو ارایه ویژگی‌هایی است که آن را متمایز از دیگر گونه‌های زبانی معرفی کند. تأکید بر وجود اصطلاحات حوزه تصوف و یا حضور عناصر هنری- ادبی در این زبان، نشان از برخوردی غیرمسأله‌وار با مبحث زبان عرفان در اغلب پژوهش‌های پیشین دارد. مقاله حاضر بر آن است تا تأویل را به عنوان ویژگی و اصل اساسی شکل‌گیری و گسترش زبان عرفان معرفی کند. زبان عرفان در روند حرکتی خود با گذر از مفاهیم و ساختارهای زبانی موجود، در فرایندی تأویلی به ارائه مفاهیم و ساختارهایی نو می‌پردازد. اهمیت نقش تأویل گذشته از گونه‌های آشکار و مرسوم آن، در تولید ژرف‌ساخت‌هایی است که عامل اصلی گسترش معنایی و صوری زبان عرفان بوده‌اند. این نگاه، «ظاهر» و «باطن» را نیز با صرف نظر کردن از معانی مرسوم هستی‌شناختی یا معرفت‌شناختی آنها، با تعبیری زبان‌شناختی و براساس خروج از بافت پیشین و ورود به بافتی نو معرفی می‌کند. ژرف‌ساخت‌های تأویلی و نقش آن‌ها در حرکت باطنی معنا، موجب می‌شوند تا زبان عرفان بیش از محور همنشینی بر روی محور جانشینی گسترش یابد؛ عاملی که برجستگی وجه ادبی در متون عرفانی را نیز در پی دارد. https://jpll.ui.ac.ir/article_16459_e02d579a25476c8bb34c94a84acc7e99.pdf
