Most followers of this religious-social school have attempted a lot to purify the inside and have invited others to their own manner. Besides religious and ethical beliefs, intellectual and behavioral innovations are also seen in Sufism which have no record in Islamic societies and they themselves call such innovations as Mostahsanat. Amongst such innovations are Mofakhereh (verses of glory and pride). Although the manner and intellectual method of Sufis is far from boasting, Sufi texts and Tazkerehs are replete with such sayings which seems somehow strange. While gathering Sufi Mofakherehs from significant Tazkerehs belonging to subsequent eras, this paper aims to provide a thematic classification and content analysis of such texts by analyzing their structure and content. Looking at these texts, it is clarified that they can be classified with regard to various aspects like explicitness, motif, participants and reasons behind their writing. Contrary to the prevalent assumption that Mofakhereh is not about status and position, most Mofakherehs are about these matters and then about boasting of prays. Moreover, as opposed to the assumption, a large number of such texts belong to great Sufi figures such as Jonaid, Bayazid, Shebli, Abu Saeed Abulkheir, Kharaqani etc, which have been written with the aim of promotion and encouragement.
