For finding the answer, first, the prose works which used Sanai’s poems are identified. After extracting the verses and corresponding them with Sanai’s works, the mentioned sources are categorized into eight groups based on subject: historical, mystical, interpretive, biographical, ethical, literary, fictional and epistolary. Then, the data is investigated using four different approaches. First, the historical approach shows in which historical periods and how much each of Sanai’s works was popular among other writers. Second, the geographical approach tries to investigate the locations in which Sanai’s poems were read during 6-10^th centuries. Third, the analytical approach aims to study the following: the spectrum of Sanai’s readers throughout history, the parts of his works which have been more attractive for each group of readers, the semantic-emotive grounds of his poems used by other writers and, finally, the similarities and differences in the reception of his poems by readers throughout history. Our last approach is statistical on the basis of which we want to answer the following questions: 1) Among which group of writers did his poetry have more readers during 6-10^th centuries? 2) How did his poetry attract the attention of others during the mentioned period? 3) Which of his works was the most popular among the readers? پرسش اصلی مقاله، چنان که از عنوان آن هم بر می‌آید، مخاطب شناسی سنایی در آثار منثور قرن ششم تا دهم هجری است. برای یافتن پاسخ، ابتدا آثار منثوری را که از اشعار سنایی استفاده کرده بودند، شناسایی کردیم. پس از استخراج ابیات و مطابقت آن‌ها با آثار سنایی، منابع مذکور بر اساس موضوع در هشت گروه طبقه‌بندی شدند: آثار تاریخی، عرفانی، تفسیری، زندگی‌نامه‌ای، اخلاقی، فنی ـ ادبی، روایی ـ داستانی و ترسّلی. سپس با چهار رویکرد متفاوت داده‌ها را بررسی کردیم. نخست، رویکرد تاریخی که نشان می‌داد، هر کدام از آثار سنایی در کدام دوره تاریخی و تا چه حد مورد توجه نویسندگان بوده‌است؛ دوم، رویکرد جغرافیایی که می‌خواهد به این پرسش پاسخ دهد که در قرن ششم تا دهم، شعر سنایی در کدام مناطق خواننده داشته‌است؛ سوم، رویکرد تحلیلی ـ موضوعی که در صدد است تا اولاً طیف مخاطبان سنایی را در طول تاریخ نشان دهد، ثانیاً معلوم کند هر گروه بیشتر به کدام بخش آثار او توجه داشته‌اند و سوم این‌که مشخص کند نویسندگان از اشعار سنایی در چه زمینه‌های معنایی ـ عاطفی بهره برده‌اند و نهایتاً این‌که دریافت خوانندگان شعر سنایی در طول تاریخ، چه تفاوتها و چه وجوه مشترکی دارد. آخرین رویکرد ما، آماری است که بر اساس آن به‌طور مشخص می‌خواهیم به سه پرسش پاسخ دهیم: شعر سنایی در قرن ششم تا دهم در میان کدام گروه از نویسندگان خوانندگان بیشتری داشته‌است؟ سیر اقبال به شعر او در بازه زمانی مذکور چگونه بوده‌است و سرانجام این‌که، کدام اثر سنایی بیشتر مورد توجه خوانندگان بوده‌است؟ https://jpll.ui.ac.ir/article_16424_014492af623483acfce56ebf6f751882.pdf
